Data Collection Computer

A computer and monitor used for motion data collection.

The Data Collection Computer controls the motion capture system while simultaneously recording data from both the motion capture cameras and the force platforms.

This may occur during either system setup or during actual data collection from a subject. During setup and calibration, the computer is used to evaluate and adjust the performance of the entire system, while during data collection system function and incoming data may be monitored real-time.

Finally, following data collection, the computer is commonly used to replay and analyze recorded data.
